“I was thinking about this. So if you go back to the late 19th century, early 20th century, there was actually a really strong band of female stockbrokers. So I thought I would invite a couple of the female stockbrokers from the very end of the 19th century. Victoria Woodall and Mary Gage.”
“Every day. That's a blend that we always think about when we talk about building better financial futures for people. It's either directly with those two and a half million end customers or it's working with our partners who could be defined benefit pension schemes, could be defined contribution pension schemes.”
“Find what we now actually know as the Higgs boson. And I didn't have that same passion. And so there was a moment again where I realized that I wasn't doing enough of what I really felt got me up in the morning. And I certainly didn't have quite that level of passion that I could see around me.”
“And their own demand, what we can see is that some things which might have had more of an importance historically in Europe, sustainability would be one example, are really beginning to get traction now in the different Asian markets.”
