“And I have, you know, I think I was born to be a reporter, and I think I probably still could be a reporter and be a good one because I have a curiosity about virtually everything and I never run out of questions. So being on the receiving end of questions is not as comfortable for me as asking questions.”

“Yeah, a great deal. When I worked in this health system, it was during a period that was before the Affordable Care Act, during the Affordable Care Act passing, and then after. So, you know, we knew that we were on an unsustainable path, how we were delivering healthcare. It was too expensive.”
“I'd be open to it, but I think in politics it is so much about timing. What do people want? I'm what I would consider a very reasonable Democrat. I don't have a voting record that is far, far, far left. And we have parts of our state that are farther left than I am.”
