“I began with data, and then I got into early 90s, into the big leagues, and then it became a thicker sheet of stats. And from that, I started to generate more stuff on my own. So the computer was primarily note-taking. Then it became a way to chart defense, which me and Bobby Knopp worked in unison getting that done.”
“I was. Well, I wasn't. I was like, I was that kid that I try to cooperate and I would clean up blackboards. And I was one of those kids that passed out the chocolate milk at 10 o'clock. I'd go down and have to put it in little bins and you'd pass it out. So I was actually good with the nuns. But it was a great place to grow up.”
“It's all about breathing. And I think this is something we teach math and I'm all about math in school. I'm even more about English and literature and reading. But I really believe we should. And teaching kids to be able to think on their feet and project what they think.”
“Oh, it's my dad. It's not my hat. I mean, the hat is, it is my dad. My dad was. It was always there for us the most simple man and real patient man, talented. I mean, he could have done anything. He was a plumber, but he could have been an electrician, a carpenter, an auto mechanic. You didn't have to pay for anything.”
