“And they looked at the midterms and they saw Republicans get wiped out. And a lot of people forget that, that the 2018 midterms were an election where Republican leaders and Republican candidates across the country were trying to keep a distance from Trump. And then they got wiped out.”
“Was it matter that we started out in poverty? We were here and we were succeeding. And my dad used to always say to us, it doesn't matter in this country what your background is. It doesn't matter what your religion is or your ethnicity.”
