The Navigator

Judgement in the fog, money, risk and the call others cannot make.

Mark Zandi earns The Navigator by steering through turbulence rather than pretending it away. He will name the precipice of recession while insisting on humility about policy-driven volatility, a rare pairing of candor and restraint.

IN THEIR WORDS, WHY NAVIGATOR

Well, also from coming to a purely academic perspective for an economist, I mean, this was just an incredible time. Once every century you see something like this, and there's so much that you're learning while you're doing. And it was not only just economics, it was also political economy.
