“Exactly. And temporary worker program of some kind to fill needs, economic needs in our country. All those elements, but it was, you know, he was a weakened president by that point because of Iraq. And the right led the opposition to that, kind of the ideological right. And so we were seeing it at that point.”

A conviction of his own failures and sins. and came to and had a Christian conversion that he I don't know the best way to put it, but he was the most grateful man that I've ever known every single day he was grateful for that change.”

“Agree with that, and I think Catholics do this a little better. They essentially say, Look, if you're pro-life, you can't dehumanize migrants. If you're against euthanasia, you have to be for health care for families. I mean, there's some kind of a consistency.”
