“Yeah, I remind it's easy in a campaign and to talk to the public and say, we're rolling back the red tape and the regulations. We're getting rid of the bureaucrats who are in the way of the economy. This will mean dramatically increased morbidity and mortality rates across the country.”
“Yeah, it's an ongoing challenge. I tried to be consistent with talking to my Democratic colleagues. Are those who wanted to talk about they filed impeachment months ago. I would say to them Even if that's your strategy, why wouldn't you wait till the investigation is complete? You may, if you think, you may get one shot at this.”
“So we got some money But it's clearly a one tenth of what we probably need. We were stymied on partisan lines. And for the life of me, it makes no sense. What I would tell my Republican friends is This just as easily could have been an attack as we've seen recently on Republicans as Democrat.”
“Support and laws that protect equality for everyone in our country. But all that begins as we talked about on the local level. You can't think about it abstractly and be effective. You've got to think about this with folks that you care about. Think that's why Repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, Maddern. It wasn't an abstract issue anymore.”
