“I think the sense of grievance and being under assault and looked down upon by your bettors, so to speak, drives a great deal of this, and a sense that the way it was, which includes tenets of faith, but much more than that in terms of patriotism, society, I don't believe that it is demonstrably or overwhelmingly racist.”
