Millions of people across the globe do not know if they will have a proper meal today, and many people across the globe have no access to basic necessities. We must act now, and we must not leave the people in need alone. Even though I believe it is our human responsibility to help these people in need, I would like to say one thing to all the critics of humanitarian aid.”

And finally, yesterday evening, a colleague said, talking about Muslims – and I ask the interpreters to make it very clear that this is a quote – he said, about Muslims, 'They spend a lot of time with goats'. The reaction of the sitting President: 'We will look into that'. Let me be very clear: I do not blame the sitting presidents. I blame the culture. Breaches of our Rules of Procedure are rarely addressed in this Chamber.”

Dass Politiker sowie Journalistinnen und Journalisten solche Eingriffe in ihre Privatsphäre fürchten müssen, wenn sie ihrer Arbeit nachgehen, ist absolut inakzeptabel und schädlich für die europäische Demokratie.”
“Pakistan is an important partner for the European Union, and precisely for that reason our dialogue must remain candid. Pakistan is the largest beneficiary of the Generalised Scheme of Preferences Plus worldwide. Preferential access to the European market is linked to implementation of international conventions, including on human rights. The continuation and renewal of GSP+ is linked to real, measurable and sustained progress in respecting the international commitments upon which it is based. “We are perfectly aware that these issues are sensitive for our Pakistani counterparts, but they cannot be postponed, minimised or treated as side matters in our relationship. Pakistan must do more to protect minors, ensure prompt police registration, apply child protection standards consistently and prosecute those who exploit religious or cultural grounds to deprive others of rights which are clearly enshrined in international law. We recognise Pakistan has taken some steps, including on child marriage and child protection policy frameworks. This is undoubtedly positive, but protection is measured by outcomes: safe return of the person, investigation of forged documents, punishment of perpetrators. Only then can vulnerable individuals and communities fully trust their state, whether in Pakistan or in any country.”
“Yet the proceedings did not deliver the clear child-protection response that such a case demands, including under international law. We know this is not an isolated case in Pakistan. It reflects a wider pattern of abduction, forced conversion and forced marriage of girls coming from minorities. There are other key issues that challenge equal citizenship and equal protection under the law – the misuse of blasphemy allegations, the persecution of Ahmadis, the caste-based discrimination affecting Dalits and Scheduled Castes, many of them Hindu or Christian. The European Union has not been silent. We have raised these concerns repeatedly and directly with Pakistan, including during our strategic dialogues and our joint commissions.”

“Kate wiederum wurde von einem Hund vergewaltigt, während pakistanische Männer Wetten abschlossen, ob der Hund in ihre Vagina oder ihren Anus eindringen würde. Alles wurde gefilmt; Kate wurde gezwungen, die Aufnahme immer wieder anzuschauen. Dieser importierte Horror – das sind keine Einzelfälle, das ist hunderttausendfach passiert; Maria Shahbaz ist überall. Polizei, Politik, Medien, MeToo‑Feministinnen – sie alle hielten die Klappe. Warum? Um dem Rassismusvorwurf zu entgehen. Sogenannter Antirassismus ist im Ergebnis feiger Rassismus gegen Weiße, suizidale Empathie zugunsten fremder Vergewaltiger und zulasten weißer Mädchen. Dreimal habe ich eine Debatte hierzu gefordert, dreimal wurde das abgelehnt; stattdessen sprachen wir über Nicaragua, Burkina Faso und Weißrussland.”
“Die Mädchen wurden von ihren Verbrechern systematisch angesprochen, manipuliert, mit Drogen betäubt, geschlagen, gewürgt, gefoltert, mit Zigaretten verbrannt und immer wieder vergewaltigt. Viele dieser Mädchen wurden schwanger, viele erlitten Fehlgeburten, viele mussten abtreiben. Ihre Peiniger nannten sie weiße Schlampen, weiße Huren, weiße Fotzen, weißen Abschaum und Kuffar‑Schlampen. Während sie vergewaltigt wurden, verspottete man sie wegen ihres christlichen Glaubens: Ihr Gott habe sie verlassen, ihr christlicher Glaube biete keinen Schutz. Zu den Opfern gehörte Chloe, gerade einmal zwölf Jahre alt. Ihr wurde Whiskey eingeschenkt, bevor sie vergewaltigt wurde. Als der Täter von ihr ließ, stieß er ihr eine leere Whiskeyflasche in die Vagina, wo sie zerbrach.”

Sie wurde entführt, sie musste zum Islam zwangskonvertieren, sie wurde gezwungen, ihren eigenen Entführer zu heiraten – einen 30 Jahre alten Moslem. Schlimm und in Pakistan keine Seltenheit; nur, bei uns in Europa leider auch nicht. Es ist sogar noch schlimmer, denn das, was Maria Shahbaz widerfahren ist, kommt mir irgendwie bekannt vor. 250 000 weiße minderjährige Mädchen wurden jahrzehntelang sexuell ausgebeutet von Grooming-Gangs in Großbritannien. Fast alle Täter waren muslimische Männer, überwiegend pakistanischer Herkunft.”

Δείτε τι έχει γίνει στην Αγγλία. Λυπάμαι πολύ για όσα συμβαίνουν στο Πακιστάν, αλλά περισσότερο λυπάμαι που τα βλέπουμε όλο και συχνότερα στην πατρίδα μου, την Ελλάδα, και στην Ευρώπη. Θέλετε λύση; Κόψτε κάθε οικονομική συναλλαγή με το Πακιστάν και απελάστε τους Πακιστανούς που βρίσκονται στην Ευρώπη παράνομα. Θα δείτε τότε πόσο γρήγορα θα υποχωρήσουν —αλλά δεν θέλετε λύσεις.”

“L’enlèvement, la conversion religieuse forcée, le mariage forcé de Maria Shahbaz, 13 ans, et à travers elle de toutes les autres jeunes filles soumises au même régime, sont contraires à la convention des droits de l’enfant et à la convention internationale sur l’élimination de toutes les formes de discrimination à l’égard des femmes – conventions que le Pakistan a pourtant ratifiées il y a déjà trente ans. Ne pas les appliquer l’expose à un retrait de son accès privilégié au marché européen.
