That is nearly an 800 percent increase, Mr. Speaker, an 800 percent increase they are making on the backs of hardworking Americans--our farmers, truck drivers, and ultimately us, the consumers. Every day we go to the market and pay more. That is why I am introducing legislation to implement export control measures on American diesel. Export controls drive down prices while also helping farmers and keeping more money in the pockets of consumers. That is affordability, Mr. Speaker. That is what America wants. That is what they are asking for, and dadgummit we ought to deliver it. These companies know they can make more money selling at higher prices abroad.”

Trooper Bennett was always selfless and kind no matter who was there. He will be dearly missed by the State capitol and his colleagues, current and former members and Senators alike, and me, as well. As a devoted father and husband, he will commit his time following his retirement to his wife and two children at his home in Lebanon. Where were you when Laken Riley and many other Americans were slaughtered by illegal aliens who were allowed into our country under your open-border policies? He was pulled over by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for speeding with an expired license. He was detained. He had folks in his vehicle that were apparently not American citizens. Then he was ordered by Biden's FBI to be released. In court documents, his wife even said: ``At this point, I am afraid to be close to him.'' She goes on to say: ``I have multiple photos, videos of how violent he can be . . .”

“The battle was the final and critical push to free Asia from the grip of evil. The 1st Marine Division was tasked with clearing the northern half of Okinawa, accomplishing this mission swiftly. When reassigned to take the other half of the island, they faced fierce resistance from the Japanese, fighting in key locations like Sugarloaf Hill and Shuri Castle. At the base of Shuri Castle right there is where my dad is pictured. While my father was fortunate enough to survive and return home to a grateful nation, his division endured unimaginable losses with 1,655 men killed in action.
