I speak today in support of Sections 101(b) and 132, two provisions that elevate the role of water supply within the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Reliable water supply is essential to our Nation's economy, our manufacturers, our communities, and our future. In Georgia, we understand that firsthand. From Allatoona Lake in my district to Corps reservoirs across this country that provide drinking water to millions of Americans, water is one of our Nation's most valuable resources.”

3. “Will they vote with me to fund important priorities, such as the programs that will allow communities in my district and many others to clean up and recover from years of PFAS contamination, or will they vote to hold hostage programs that will make Appalachia communities, like mine, healthier all to score political points? This important legislation is required to allow Republicans in this House to advance important priorities for the American people, including funding legislation to keep our government operating.
