At the outset of this year's WRDA, I laid out three goals for the bill: sticking to regular bipartisan order, addressing affordability, and enhancing resiliency across Army Corps infrastructure. WRDA 2026 checks each of these boxes and delivers hundreds of other Member priorities, as well. WRDA 2026 sticks to the regular order by continuing to authorize the next generation of Corps projects and studies. The bill authorizes the construction of 14 new and updated projects and provides over $6 billion in new and modified environmental infrastructure authorities to address local water and wastewater needs.”
