They need tariff relief, lower fuel costs, expanded markets, and action from Congress. They know how to endure tough times, but they told me this is as difficult as it has ever been. These are real costs threatening real workers, families, and farms. Farming is a national security issue. We must listen. We must act, and we must give our farmers the stability they need to keep farming America. ____________________”

That is why I introduced the PRO-WORK Act. This legislation will prohibit corporations that lock out their workers from doing business with the Federal Government. Specifically, a company engaged in a lockout would be prohibited from receiving Federal funds for a period equal to the duration of the lockout and would be ineligible for Federal tax credits for the corresponding taxable year. The principle is simple: Any company that locks out American workers should be locked out from receiving American tax dollars. ____________________”

I have spent my entire career as an elected official believing that every worker should have the ability to form and join a union. As a member of the Congressional Labor Caucus, I was proud to join my colleagues in signing a letter to the administration on this matter which states that this is the single most antiworker and anti-union Presidential action since the firing of the striking air traffic controllers in 1981.
