  1. So Hasbro has three primary business units. We have Wizards of the Coast in Digital Gaming that does kind of like our older skiing games and then a lot of our video games and kind of digital services. We have what we call consumer products, which really is kind of the toys division. So toys does all these iconic properties like transformers, my little pony, baby alive, our beloved series of board games from Monopoly to Clue to Candyland to trivial pursuit. And then we have our entertainment division, which is called E1, which does everything from kids animation for big hits like Peppa Pig to Blockbuster Movies like what we're doing this weekend with Dungeon& Dragons honor among thieves, with our partners at Paramount. And then they also do a host of, you know, kind of non-Hasro IP entertainment for big.

  3. It was a dream come true and a real honor. You know, I was able to kind of take a torch that I had picked up as a kid and was able to carry it forward and make it a little brighter for new generations of fans. You know, when I joined in 2016, Wizards was, you know, I think it ended 2015. We were about $450 million. Last year, the business grew to a little under $1.3 billion. You know, we had amazing player growth. We had some nice revenue and profitability growth. And we were able to do that across the portfolio of games. Magic was a big driver. But D&D has also had a fantastic run, particularly since the launch of fifth edition back in 2014, 2015. So, you know, that was an amazing experience. It was a really great introduction to Hasbro, which also has a number of storied brands above and beyond wizards. I think I had a nice part to play and making.

  4. Yeah, so I started at Wizards of the Coast around the middle of 2016. I had been a longtime fan of Wizards Games, the two biggest being Magic the Gathering and D&D. I started playing D&D when I was around 10 or 11 in Cincinnati, Ohio, my hometown. My best friend Hans Roder's house, his older brother Thad introduced it to us. And then I started playing magic my junior year of college about a year or so after it came out. My girlfriend moved away to medical school and magic cards moved into my dorms to help fill the void. So, you know, being able to come on board to a company like Wizards that have been such a big part of my life, D&D helped inspire me to get into the video game industry in the late 90s when I joined a secret project called Xbox back in 1999 at Microsoft after playing the original Baldur's Gate.

  5. Yeah, we're talking to the executives of companies that are over 100 years old. Hasbro just hit the mark this year. That's pretty exciting. It has come a long way from where it started. I will tell you, I did not know that the name Hasbro Is literally the has brothers and it's bros.
