“I hope so because my kids have a great understanding of the Olympics, my daughter in particular, Lauren who's nine, she understands that Mommy competed at the highest level and she won a gold medal. So fingers crossed if first a coke can wangle me a ticket because I didn't get any in the current ballot that I do apply online. I applied online twice and I was not lucky enough to get any, but hey ho, I know I'll be there because I'll be working for the BBC, and I know the British Olympic Association have set aside a couple of tickets for me, so yes, my children will be there.”

“Absolutely, I was mesmerized, I remember watching those games just enchanted. I think the moment I remember Sebastian Crow crossing the line and the look of complete just satisfaction and watching Daley Thompson on the podium winning his gold medal also, obviously I didn't realise it was the Olympics. I just knew it was a big competition. There were athletes from all over the world competing. I was watching the flags, the colours of their vests, and I just thought to myself, I want to be there. That's what I want to do.”
