“Everton, the whole boxing day. I was going to Hull. I woke up in the morning. I couldn't get out of bed. And I just run myself into the ground. I'd stopped training. I was eating too much. “I think would break me completely, but then on the other side, we know that my grandparents lived till they were in their 80s. My dad literally was 65. I thought I'd loved him to have lived another 10, 15 years, of course, but he didn't. But I was able to deal with it through the idea that he lived his life to the full.
