“I went in search of a great agent. At least a better agent than the one I had at that time. And I just started, it's a phrase that I say to people all the time. I rose to the occasion of my own life. I had to stand up and be a hero for myself. And I tell you, it was soon after, you know, things, little things started happening and things started coming together. One job led to the other. And then it got to a point I was do, my kids were now in freshmen in college and I got a series called Instant Mom at the very end of Instant Mom. I got Ray Donovan. I got accepted into the first class of women at Rutgers University, and that in itself was a trip, you know, crossing a gender line, breaking a gender line, you know, having them tell you what is female, what is male.
