The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the humanitarian truce. We appreciate the efforts of Qatar, Egypt and the United States in that regard. The truce is the first step. However, it is insufficient, especially given the continued restrictions on the number of aid trucks entering Gaza. Resolution 2712 (2023) must also be fully implemented. We must build on it in order to reach a comprehensive and immediate ceasefire.”
