1. “I've been covering sex crimes and sexual harassment and other types of sexual misconduct issues basically for about 10 years. I spent a chapter of my career at the Chicago Tribune where I did a lot of coverage. I was one of the first reporters to uncover these untested rape kits that we're gathering dust and police storage units and also worked on a project in which about an underground network where people were giving away adopted children to strangers that they met on the internet and how some of those kids were ending up in the hands of sexual predators. And then I joined the New York Times in 2016. Actually, it was a bit of a leap for me. I went on to, I was brought on to be one of the investigative reporters on the presidential campaign team. And so that was when I actually, one of my first assignments was to look into Donald Trump's treatment of women. And so Michael Barbaro and I actually broke some of the first stories looking at the sexual allegations of sexual misconduct against him.”
